Celia Lawley, educator

Celia Lawley, earned a degree in violin performance from the University of Southern California’s prestigious Thornton School of music in Los Angeles and graduated with honors in chamber music.

An experienced multi-styled performer, Celia sings and plays 9 instruments, clogs and step dances while fiddling and has performed throughout the US and Canada at fairs, festivals, concerts and special events.

Celia currently teaches her instant ukulele method, the “Little Uk’s program” throughout

Southern California at libraries and events.

and events and in her private studio and is credited with two additional programs, “Fiddletime is Fun Time” for children and The Performance Academy, progressive method of improvisation for fiddle for adults in which students learn both reading and improvisational skills through American and Celtic fiddle tunes. The method includes 121 songs that Celia has scribed and recorded in a progressive, experiential manner.

Celia teaches logic through intuition and intuition through logic, creating a programs specifically designed for integrated brain development.
